I finally got a chance to sit down tonight and try of some of the techniques from Creative Chemistry 102. If you have not signed up for this class, you are definitely missing out! I have not had much time after work, but the few hours I did have tonight were great! Even if it takes me a few days longer I definitely plan to finish all my homework. I started out with the first tag and tried the Distress Paint Marbling Technique:
After doing this one, I thought as a card maker, it might be better if I tried this technique on a card base:
I also tried the Altered Surfaces Technique and made these numbers:
And here they are on a finished Christmas card:
The last technique I tried was the Eroded Metallics Technique. I think I need a little more practice, but it certainly was fun to try out and I definitey thought the piece was good enough to use as a card base:
That's it for tonight, and I definitely can't wait to have some more time to play around with the rest of the techniques…so much fun!

Congrats these are great.
Beautiful results! If this is indication of your work under pressure, I think I’d be “late” on “homework” more often!;-)lol. I love the effect of your altered surfaces and the card that resulted! Congrats on being featured in the CC102 Gallery!
Congrats on having your Christmas Tag featured by Tim..what a wonderful honor and one I was shocked to have earned with my Tag….! I hope it made your day as much as it did MINE!! 🙂
