cc102: behind on my homework from day 1

THCC102_participant

I finally got a chance to sit down tonight and try of some of the techniques from Creative Chemistry 102. If you have not signed up for this class, you are definitely missing out! I have not had much time after work, but the few hours I did have tonight were great! Even if it takes me a few days longer I definitely plan to finish all my homework. I started out with the first tag and tried the Distress Paint Marbling Technique

After doing this one, I thought as a card maker, it might be better if I tried this technique on a card base:

I also tried the Altered Surfaces Technique and made these numbers:

And here they are on a finished Christmas card:

The last technique I tried was the Eroded Metallics Technique. I think I need a little more practice, but it certainly was fun to try out and I definitey thought the piece was good enough to use as a card base:

That's it for tonight, and I definitely can't wait to have some more time to play around with the rest of the techniques…so much fun!
