Spent the weekend getting messy and playing in my art journal. I am just getting started with art journaling, but am really enjoying trying out new techiques. Just a quick share to play along with the Say It With Stamps Challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Lots of paint, layers, and Tim Holtz stencils, and even a mirror on one side. And the words?? They are from a Dyan Reaveley set that is full of wonderful quotes. Here is a close up of some of the fun texture and layering:
