simon says stamp monday challenge: bright and cheerful

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Feminine challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too 🙂  This week our challenge is Bright and Cheerful and I have made a quick and easy card with watercoloring and Distress Reinkers using one of my favorite new stamp sets from Reverse Confetti…Friendly Florals. 

This card was so easy to create! Just stamp the florals on either corner of your card in waterproof ink, I used Distress Archival in Black Soot and then stamp the sentiment as well in the same ink. I loosely colored the florals by dropping dots of Distress Ink Reinkers onto my Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat and picking them up with a Detailer Waterbrush. When the panel was dry (you could use a heat tool) I splattered the card with a little Black Soot Distress Paint.
