Create with Cheiron heading and colorful cards over white background

simon says stamp: big xoxo (x2)

Hi there creative friends! I have another post for you today using new Simon Says Stamp products from the newest And Back Again release. I shared one of these cards a little while ago, and I finally got around to creating with the negative of that Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink piece I created to cut the letters from for the first card. So let’s take a little look at how to get the most from your Alcohol Ink Panel.

You can find links to all the supplies I’ve used below; click on the picture of shop icon to get taken directly to the product. I use affiliate links which means if you use them to make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you 🙂 I truly appreciate your support.

I created an Alcohol Ink Panel using Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks in Fiesta, Gumball, Shell Pink, Wild Plum and Gilded Alloy. Once the panel was dry, I cut the Big XOXO from it.

For the card with the positive part of the Big XOXO, I added foam adhesive to the back of the letters and then placed them onto a panel that I ran through the Geometric Lattice Embossing Folder. I finished the card with a Reverse Sentiment Strip. Super easy.

For the card with the negative Big XOXO, I used the panel to create a shaker card by backing it with acetate and creating a shaker over a piece of gold metallic cardstock. I added in some of the Simon Says Stamp Valentine’s Mix sequins (I love these so much!) and then added the shaker to a card that I had adhered an Imperia Plate panel to for some added texture. To finish this card, I added a sentiment strip from the And Back Again release.
