Hello there crafty friends! I love a good surprise and this one definitely got me in the holiday mood. Simon Says Stamp and Tim Holtz have an exclusive Sizzix Thinlits die set called Dash Away All. This set contains 3 dies that are perfect for your holiday projects: a silhouette die of Santa and his reindeer, a crescent moon and a magical trail of stars.
Simon Says Stamp will be giving away the EXCLUSIVE NEW Tim Holtz Die set as a free gift with any $25 Tim Holtz purchase! No coupon needed. While supplies last.
I have a fun set of cards to share with you today using this set and loved playing with it so much, that I will be sharing a different idea with it each day this week! For this set I blended each Distress Watercolor Cardstock panel with DIstress Inks, then sprayed them with Distress Spray Stain, DIstress Mica Spray and splattered them with Picket Fence Distress Paint.
I stamped each card with a sentiment from the Mini Bold Tidings set. I cut the moons out of Champagne Glitter cardstock, and adhered them to each card using Distress Collage Medium. I cut the Santa and his sleigh out of Simon Says Stamp Black cardstock and adhered it to the panel. Finally to finish each panel, I inked the top edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. I added three tiny Mirrored Stars that I colored with Mushroom Alcohol Ink to each card for a little extra holiday sparkle.
To assemble the cards, I added foam tape to the back of each panel and then added it to a white note card! So easy to make and now I have 5 more Christmas cards ready to go!
