Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us for the Create a Scene Challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week we are have a Not A Card challenge, so create anything but a card, a tag a piece of home decor, whatever you like!
For my project this week I created a tag inspired by one of the most recent Facebook Live demos from Tim Holtz using the remnant rub resist technique. I love the look of this one, and always forget about it. I used DIstress Spray Stains in Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade along with Remnant Rubs to create the background. I finished the card off with some Scribbly Butterflies that I cut from kraft core cardstock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added a Theories Quote Chip and some Hardware Heads to complete my tag.
As you may know, the Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.
