The first card features the brand new Etched Snowflake Background from the Hey Bestie release. I love the style of these snowflakes and the AMAZING detail that you get from the cling. I embossed the snowflake design in white, and painted it in with my Daniel Smith watercolors in Phthalo Blue, Prussian Blue, Phthalo Turquoise, Lunar Black and Indigo then gave it a bit of white and gold splatter. I mounted the panel onto a gold mat, then mounted it onto a white notecard. I die cut the CS Design Thank You die from Simon Soft Navy cardstock and mounted that onto my panel.
For my second card, I stamped the Heart to Heart background onto black card stock and embossed it with clear embossing powder for a tone on tone look. I cut the Rainbow Heart out using all the colors of Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft Stock from the Confections pack. I finished it off with a sentiment from the Reverse Miss You sentiment strips.
For the third card, I created something a little different with the new Peony Bouquet stencil. I cut a panel of yupo paper and then applied Ranger texture paste through the stencil and let it dry. With an old paint brush, I painted Pool alcohol ink onto the top of the panel. For the flowers, I used Alcohol Pearls in Enchanted, Intrigue, Alchemy and a tiny bit of Smolder (for the flowers) and Sublime and Envy (for the leaves). I absolutely love the how the texture paste looks when painted with the pearls.
We canโt wait to see the inspiration you add to our Hey Bestie and Love You More galleries. Please make sure to add your creations there so we can all see the fabulous cards you have made! The next stop on the hop is the AMAZING Lea Lawson, please hop on over and see what she has created for you!
