Continuing along with my goal to 'Get Cracking on Christmas' all year long, by creating my Christmas cards with a few crafty friends throughout the year! If you want to see how it all started, go to my original post here.

Today I am sharing a card with the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Nordic Winter die. I could not get wait to get my hands on this one. I know it will be great to make some super quick and easy cards with, but my card today will be a Christmas card for someone really special. To make this card, I cut the die out of woodgrain paper then colored it with Gathered Twigs and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Now I am ready to cut an inlay all those tiny pieces…

I added double sided tape to the back of the entire panel, then cut the die again in red, yellow, blue, green, beige and white (yep, I even inlaid each and every bit of snow!) It take a lot of work, but for me was super relaxing. Now I just have to find someone very special to send this card to in December 🙂
