Thrilled to be joining Simon Says Stamp today to celebrate their release of coordinating dies for even more of your favorite Tim Holtz stamp sets. This release includes dies for:
Field Notes
Correspondence
The Inspector
The Professor Suite (for the Professor and Professor 2 stamp sets)
Today, I have created a fun card with my favorite of the stamp and die sets, The Inspector. I love this one so much, especially that the dies cut out his glasses/goggles. I turned my inspector today into a fun Valentine card.

I stamped a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with the Seasonal Catalog 2 background with different colors of Distress Oxides. Then I added the same color of Distress Embossing Glaze and heat embossed it. Once it was dry I sprayed it with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain then stitched around my panel. I added some hearts and then stamped and cut The Inspector twice. I colored in the first one and the second one I cut out just the glasses, colored them and embossed them with Candied Apple Distress Embossing Glaze. I added some pink colored vellum for the “lenses”.

To finish my card, I stamped and colored some labels that I had made for a previous project using the Field Notes stamps + dies. And finally I added a tiny embossing glaze heart to The Inspector’s jacket. Be sure to hop around to see all the other great inspiration with these new dies!
