Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Moments Release Blog Hop – Day 1

Hello crafty friends! I am thrilled to be joining Simon Says Stamp to celebrate their Beautiful Moments release. Now on to the crafting! Today I have used two of the newest products Whirl Butterflies and Groovy Daisies combined with another favorite, the EZ Strips XL Basics cut out using the EZ Strips Banner Wafer dies.

To create the card, I embossed the Groovy Daisies stamp in Hero Arts White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder. I cut the panel out using the Nested Domed Arches Frames Dies. I cut the Whirl Butterflies and inked then up with bright colors of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

I adhered the domed panel to a piece of Fog Cardstock, and then added the banner sentiment to the center of the domed panel. I arranged all those inky butterflies around the sentiment, popping each one up with foam dots.

    Your card is a wonderful way to say THANK YOU to someone. The Whirl Butterflies are a wonderful new trio of Butterfly dies, I especially like the brightness of your chosen ink colors set against the new Groovy Daisies stamp. The Daisies don’t compete with the butterflies they instead accentuate the beautiful butterflies. Your card could also be a lovely tone on tone sympathy card if the Whirl Butterflies were left white.
