Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Add Some Text

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with us last time and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge theme is Add Some Text.

For my card this week, I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Numbered Embossing Folder to create the background of her card. I added a big birthday cake from the Catherine Pooler Let’s Eat Cake set and inked the edges of the cake with Antique Linen Distress Ink using a Ranger Foam Blending tool. I cut the candles out of all the fun colors of Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Pack of cardstock. To finish my card, I added some fun splatter to the background using Sterling Foundry Wax.
