Hello crafty friends and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with us last time and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge theme is Lots of Layers. I’ve created a watercolor card that layers color and shape using the Tim Holtz Abstract Elements dies.

For my card today, I cut out a bunch of different elements from the Tim Holtz Abstract Elements dies. I painted each one using my Distress Watercolor Pencil Shavings Palette – see how to make that over on my You Tube Channel.
I arranged all of my painted shapes onto my my small watercolor panel and then trimmed any pieces that were overlapping the edges. I figured out the placement of where I wanted the panel to be on my card, then I stamped the sentiment from the Tim Holtz Crazy Talk set. To finish the card, I adhered the painted shapes panel to my card with foam tape.
