This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog this week is Something New. This can be almost anything: new products, new techniques, new style…just something that is new to you. This week I have made something old something new again. I love mixing paints and playing with color and I used Dina Wakley's color mixing chart to mix up some new paint colors with the colors I already had. I stamped tissue paper with Archival Ink using the Scribbly Birds in Flight and built my mini canvas using paints and stencils and a bold die cut word using letters from Tim Holtz's Word Play die:
You can get a printable version of Dina's paint color mixing chart to help you stretch your paint colors from the Ranger website here. I hope you try some of these color combos, the results are really pretty!
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to one random challenge entry. So please join us for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight. Good luck, I can't wait to see what you make!
