This week we are using anything but regular paper over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. I am playing with my current obsesssion – the Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft Core Paper. This paper is so fun to die cut, emboss or sand with. I have even painted on it.
I die cut a mini shield and some spring greenery out of the gold paper to make the focal point for my tag:
To make the focal point more cohesive, I added one of the Heirloom Roses that was inked with gold alcohol ink:
And here's a close up of that neutral texture paste that seems to blend in in the photo, but is definitely there:
