It’s time for another challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog, and today it’s Anything Goes. So be sure to submit whatever you are working on this week for a chance to win. 

I have had these mini mason jars for a while. They are super fun just to store things in, but I wanted to make a small display piece with one. I made the figure inside using a Tim Holtz Salvaged Doll and stamping, cutting and adhering wings from one of the butterflies in the Watercolor Cling set. I filled the jar with pearls that had been colored with alcohol inks and colored my Letterpress with similar colors of Distress Paint.

    I admire anyone who can work a Mason jar and you nailed it! I’ve never thought of using pearls as a jar-filler and I am amazed at how cool they look when colored with alcohol ink! You did a really great job on this!
