I’m back with another challenge post for A Blog Named Hero. This challenge is all about Stretching Your Stamps! Today I will be sharing 2 ways that I used the Hero Arts/Basic Grey Flower Table Cloth Background Stamp to get 2 completely different looks.
For the first card, I stamped the image in black onto kraft:
And I stamped the entire background stamp again for this card, but embossed it in white and used Distress Markers to color in the negative image for a completely different look:
As always, our challenge is sponsored by the ever generous Heidi at Simon Says Stamp!
Remember, just by making a card and participating in the challenge (by linking your card to this post) you will be eligible to win a $25 voucher from Simon Says Stamp. I can’t wait to see what you make. I will definitely be popping by some blogs to say “hi”!

OH EM GEE, Cheiron!!!!!!! I’d add another exclamation, but I want to save room to tell you how in love I am with these cards! Talk about inspiration – I would never have thought to use a background stamp for the challenge. I also forgot about the embossing and coloring technique for this stamp! It is GORGEOUS and I’m swooning…. Hugs, Marcy
