Hello crafty friends! I have another card using brand new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps for you today and this time I am using the Deconstructed set. When I first saw set and the image with all the circles around it, I immediately thought color wheel…
See full supply list at the bottom of this post :)
To create my card, I wanted it to have a semi-grungy background, so I started by coloring a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain. I like to spray the stain onto my glass mat and then dip the paper into the droplets of stain, drying then repeating to build up layers. Once that was done I stamped my image from Deconstructed onto the dried panel using Distress Archival Ink in Black Soot.
I continued by coloring in the panel with Distress Watercolor Pencils in all the colors of the rainbow and blended them out with a Detailer Waterbrush. Once my panel was dry I added a little Black Soot Distress Paint as well. To complete the panel, I added some Black Soot Archival Ink to the edges, roughed them up with a Distress Edger and added some stitching to the perimeter of the panel.
To finish the card, I matted the completed painted panel onto a piece of Metallic Kraft Stock and then adhered the entire panel to a black notecard cut from Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock. For the sentiment, I cut a strip of watercolor cardstock, colored and inked it similar to my main panel and stamped a sentiment from the new Floristry set.
