simon says stamp challenge: patriotic
Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week's challenge theme is Patriotic. We are celebrating the 4th here in the US, but your card can be anything patriotic to you (just be sure to explain it in your post!). I went the traditional route and used lots of stars. This week the design team is using My Favorite Things products and I have used one of my die essentials…the stacking stars die. I combined it with a bunch of Tim Holtz products to make my own embellishment and added a bit of vintage looking glass glitter. I also used the background technique from this month's 12 Tags of 2013 over on Tim's blog.
Remember, just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store. One lucky winner will be chosen at random, it could be you!
