This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Make Your Own Background and the design team is using products from Darkroom Door…
I had this old receipt envelope and these fun stamps sitting in my drawer forever waiting to create some mail art. I used lots of my favorite Tim Holtz stencils including Hearts, Plus and Bubble along withDina Wakley paints. I decorated the envelope with some fun stamps from the Darkroom Door Mail Art set and some beautiful Sophisticated Script letters from Concord & 9th.
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!

Such a fun piece of mail art! Someone is going to be very happy to get their mail!
So fun! I love those eyes and I’ve been wanting those letters too!
Beautiful envelope!
What a fabulous piece of art! I love the color palette and how you left portions of it WHITE. I am a chicken about leaving white space, but I really love how both the negative and positive space make a statement in this. The postage stamp stickers are especially perfect for this piece.
Amazing piece, i love your art, your way to use colors and stencils is stunning! Barbara
This is so cute! I wouldn’t think of such a combination of colors and patterns! Great job. Hugs, Marzena
