simon says stamp monday challenge: recycle style
This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Recycle Style. This week I used an empty paper towel roll as a “tool” to stamp on my gelli plate.
I love playing around with any new tool for mark making. I have stamped with a paper tube before, but when you stamp and print using your gelli plate, you get an entirely different look. I stamped with picket fence distress paint and printed onto my tag. Once the paint was dry, I layered over it with Distress inks and the Tim Holtz Plus layering stencil and Wildflower stamps. The sentiment is from the new Tim Holtz Ponderings set.

What a fantastic tag! I need to clone it immediately and stick one in every room in my house. I think that just seeing this every day would make me smile! And I don’t know what excites me more: the tag itself, or the fact that you rocked it with a paper towel roll!
