Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Summertime Blues

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too 🙂 

Our challenge this week is Summertime Blues and I have created a background with the Tim Holtz Mosaic stencil, Distress Opaque Texture Paste, and some of my favorite blue Distress Embossing Glazes, Tumbled Glass and Prize Ribbon. I spread the paste through the stencil (be sure to clean it off after!). Then I added the different colors of Distress Embossing Glaze and heat embossed them when they were dry.

Once the panel was dry, I added Distress Spray Stain in Frayed Burlap and let that dry. Finally, I spattered the panel with Black Soot Distress Paint. To complete the card, I added a word from the Sizzix Word Wafers 1 Thinlits from Seth Apter.
