simon says stamp monday challenge: things with wings

SSS challenge link Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Things With Wheels challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too 🙂

This week our challenge is Things with Wings and I have used one of my all time favorite dies with Wings, the Tim Holtz Perspective Butterfly. I cut the Butterfly from Black Dura-Bright, then colored it with Alcohol Inks including Snow Cap Mixative, Fiesta, Sunshine Yellow and Valencia. I added just a bit of Gilded Alcohol Ink Alloy

For the base of the card I used Distress Black Heavystock and adhered the Butterfly to it using Distress Collage Medium then added Gilded Foundry Wax splatter by mixing a bit of splatter with some alcohol and splattering over the project with my paintbrush and heating it with my embossing gun when I was done. To finish, I added a Sentiment Label Sticker
