simon says stamp monday challenge: use your favorite technique

SSS challenge link Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the  challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too 🙂

This week our challenge is Use Your Favorite Technique and I have used one of the very first (and still favorite techniques) that I learned…Distress Ink Blending. I cut a tag from Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I blended Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. I sprayed them with water using a Distress Sprayer, lightly blotted them with a towel and then dried the tag with my heat tool

Once my tag was dry, I stamped it with images from the Floral Outline set using Black Soot Archival Distress Ink. Once the ink was dry, I ran the tag through the Dotted 3D Texture Fades to give it even more texture. To finish my tag, I added some stitching and a sentiment from the Noteworthy stamp set.
