Hi there creative friends! I have one of my favorite trios of cards using the newest Tim Holtz Distress color, Saltwater Taffy. These cards are so easy to put together, and as you can see, can be done with so many combinations to suit any occasion. I stamped one of the Brushstrokes, embossed with Distress Embossing Glaze and embossed it, and then repeated it with 2 coordinating colors. I stamped a butterfly from the Flutter stamp set, fussy cut and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Then I added a bit of splatter with Black Soot Distress Paint and a paint brush and an Idea-ology Sentiments Label Sticker. Let’s take a look at each combo below. All supplies linked at the end of this post 🙂
A bright and happy mix of Saltwater Taffy, Fossilized Amber and Wilted Violet.
This one is a little more mellow with Weathered Wood, Candied Apple and Saltwater Taffy.
And finally a more whimsical palette with Kitsch Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy and Cracked Pistachio.
I hope you enjoyed these cards, they were super easy and fun to put together and the color combos are almost endless!
