Hi there crafty friends! I hope you enjoyed all of the Prize Ribbon inspiration yesterday. I am thrilled to have a new color in the DIstress Family, I have already tried so many color combos with it and can not wait to try even more. I’ll be sharing all of my makes over the next week and giving details about each card, including supplies.
This card was one of the easiest to make. I started by cutting a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4 in. I stamped and embossed the leaves from the Leaf Prints set all over the panel using Versamark and embossed them with Ranger White Superfine Embossing Powder. Once the embossing was cooled, I put my panel into a Splat Box and misted it with water using a Distress Sprayer, then sprayed it with Prize Ribbon Distress Spray Stain. I dried it with my heat tool and sprayed a little more water as I was drying it to move the stain around.
Once the panel was dry, I added foam tape to the back of it and adhered it to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in card base. To create the sentiment in a coordinating color, I stamped the sentiment from the Observations set in Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide and Embossed it with Prize Ribbon Distress Embossing Glaze. This was a super easy fun and card to create, and I hope you will try it out for yourself 🙂
