simon says stamp monday challenge: vacation
Hi crafty friends, it’s time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week’s Wedding/AnniversaryChallenge and I hope you will join us again this week too! This week our challenge is Vacation and I’m thinking about joining my mom in London at the end of the week!
To create my card, I started with a layer of Antique Linen Distress Ink and water, and dried it to give my Distress Watercolor cardstock a vintage feel. Then I layered a few of my favorite layering stencils to create a colorful background. Then I continued to build up the background by stamping images from Citiscapes, an adding images from Noble Gent, Nature’s Wonder and The Professor. I added a ticket from the Ticket Booth set and finished off the card with an Idea-ology Numeric number that I distressed with Candied Apple paint. I love the happy colors!
