tim holtz pennants: lucky is a state of mind

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone! I hope you are wearing some green today, and getting your Irish on…Today I'm sharing another Creativation 2018 make with the new Pennants set. There is a pennant here for almost any occasion:

Pennants

This set is perfect for all those academic/collegiate themed cards but also fun in many shades of green to send a little luck!

To created the stamped panel, I stamped the pennant repeatedly using Lucky Clover, Peeled Paint, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides. I went over the edges with a little Black Soot Distress Ink and used a Black Soot Distress Marker and a Marker Spritzer to lightly go over the panel. I added the scalloped edges from the Stitched Ovals die set and adhered it to an inked panel that was done using the same Distress Oxides as I used for stamping.

To complete my card, I added one more stamped pennant that had been embossed with clear embossing powder and cut with the stitched circle and also spritzed with the Marker Spritzer. I then finished it with a bit of twine and a lucky clover Adornment.
