simon says stamp monday challenge: april showers bring may flowers
This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is April Showers bring May flowers. Our April has been really cold so far, so I decided to skip right ahead to the flowers!
I wanted to achieve a painty look with these Winnie and Walter In Bloom Annas Floral stamps. I painted my tag with a layer of Dylusions paint in Calypso Teal. I then stamped my flower images in white ink, and painted over them with other colors of Dylusions paints. Once the paint was dry, I stamped over the painted images in Archival Black ink.

This tag can’t help but make me smile and feel excited about warmer weather! I love the iconic image of the sunflower and you’ve amped them up with this gorgeous composition. Love your sentiment, too, which is a good reminder and goes along with the flowers perfectly.
