a blog named hero challenge #17: New Year, New You!
So glad to be back today with the first challenge for the New Year over on A Blog Named Hero! The first challenge this month is New Year, New You! Use a new stamp, try a new technique…just make it new.
I love the technique videos that Shari Carroll does over at Hero Arts as part of their monthly contest. I printed out this tutorial a long time ago on how to make a Box card. Well this was just the challenge I needed to finally sit down and do it. Shari's instructions make it incredibly easy! This is definitely new to me since I never got around to trying it, but I will certainly do it again-and the best part of this box card is that it folds flat for mailing. I also used some of my new stamps from the Hero Arts 2013 catalog release.
