cha 2016: birthday calendar for tim holtz sizzix booth

Sharing another project I created for the Tim Holtz/Sizzix booth. This time I used the Calendar Words Block die to create this Perpetual Birthday Calendar. It is a little worn cover binder that has a divider for each month, and a page numbered 1-31 for each month where you can write down all the important birthdays and celebrations you don't want to miss. This seemed like a perfect way for me not to forget to send out all those birthday cards I make! 

I used a worn cover and created the bright colored cover plate using the new Stitched Rectangles Thinlits die and embossed it with the Dotted Bullseye texture fade. All of the newly released Sizzix products are available to pre-order now at Simon Says Stamp! 

I added a little ribbon and some Idea-ology pieces to embellish the spine: 

And use tons of new (and old) Sizzix dies on the inside to create pages for each month with the Calendar Words Block die:

It was great to see Tim point out my project on Periscope! 

And I was super happy that my friends were able to see my project in person in the Sizzix booth! Thank you Jenn Shurkus for sending me these great photos. You know I would not forget your birthday!
