Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Sporty and/or Patriotic

So much to celebrate: the summer Olympics, 4th of July and my first post for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week's theme is sporty and/or patriotic, and the design team is using Cuttlebug products (not a challenge requirement, but why not use 'em if you've got 'em?).

If you know me, you know I am not very sporty-so I went with the patriotic theme.  For my project, I have used two Cuttlebug folders: Stars & Candy Cane Stripe:

To make the glittery stripes, I applied strips of Be Creative tape and covered them in Glitter Ritz. To distress the star panel, I applied Picket Fence Distress Stain.
