simon says stamp monday challenge: a bit o’ green

To create the background of my card, I stamped the Baroque stamp several times on to a Distress Watercolor cardstock panel. I used a Distress Embossing Dabber to go over the outside part that would show on my finished card and embossed it. Then I added Peeled Paint Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set it with an embossing gun.
After I heat set it, I inked the outside edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. To create my main panel, I stamped the Snarky Cat onto a Distress Watercolor Panel, then masked him off. I stamped over him with the Linen stamp from the Mesh and Linen set. I gave the panel a bit of splatter with Rusty Hinge DIstress Ink and Tarnished Brass Mica Spray. Once the panel was dry, I removed the mask and colored in the cat with Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey DIstress Ink. I stamped and colored the hat and bowtie from Crazy Things and cut them out and did the same with the milk bottle from Crazy Cats using Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks.
