simon says stamp monday challenge: a day at the beach

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Early Birds Challenge and we hope you will join us again this week for our A Day at the Beach Challenge. 

 

This week I was inspired to make a Tim Holtz Etcetera Tag in Ocean colors using Distress Paint, stamps and stencils. I painted the tag in all of my favorite colors of DIstress Paint, then I used the Stitches and Dotted Stencils to add texture. I stamped on the tag using Archival Distress Inks and the Grunged and Media Marks 1 stamps. I addded some Imagery from the Sealife stamp set and painted it in. To create my sentiment, I used the Tall Text stamps and cut each letter out and inked the edges. I used a Starfish from the DIna Wakley Media Ocean Chipboard pieces to finish it off.
