This week I created an adorable Valentine card using a new Colorize die from Tim Holtz, Theodore. Isn’t he the cutest? If you haven’t tried this type of die before, they just keep getting easier to put together! The most important step is to cut out all of your pieces before assembly ๐ I cut Theodore out of all the different browns of my Classic Kraft Stock Paper Stash and assembled him and put him aside while I worked on the background.
For the background, I cut the Falling Hearts die out of a piece of 4 3/4 X 6 3/4 Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Then I ink blended the watercolor panel using Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple DIstress Oxides. I used a die pick to punch out all of the little hearts.
To finish my card, I cut the sentiment out with the Alphanumeric Tiny Type and the Alphanumeric dies and arranged them on strips of watercolor cardstock. I just love the look of these Colorize dies and hope you will try them out for yourself!

The level of detail on this bear is incredible! What a cutie-pie! The textures on your paper really add to the character. And that inked background – be still my blended heart!! This is so very cool. Thanks for sharing.
this is a darling card! Love the contrast between the pink and brown and the ombre background…superb!
What a great idea for a Valentine! I adore this die!
