Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Happy Birthday!

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with us last time and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge theme is Happy Birthday and we are celebrating our Birthday!!! Our 16th!!! As it’s a special occasion, this week the lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store!  The design team is using Paper Artsy products, you don’t have to use them, but if you have some we’d love if you did.

For my card this week, I used one of the fun Sizzix 25th Birthday die sets. This one is Birthday Doodles, by Letters By Shells. I cut the cakes out and inked up the inner pieces with Distress Oxide Minis and did the same with the tiny confetti pieces. I added foam tape to the backof all my cake slices and added them to my card. I used the scalloped piece to make a base for my sentiment and added the little confetti pieces there too. Lots to cut out, but so much fun to create!
