simon says stamp monday challenge: take me for a ride

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Shoot for the Stars Challenge and we hope you will join us again this week for the Take Me for A Ride Challenge. 

 

This week I have created a fun bicycle card using the Stampers Anonymous Theories set. I inked up a panel of DIstress Watercolor Cardstock by putting my DIstress Inks directly onto my TIm Holtz Glass Media Mat and spraying them with water, smooshing my panel into the ink, drying it with a heat tool and adding more layers, drying in between. When the panel was dry, I Inked it with some stencils including the DIgits and Stars. Then I stamped using the Stampers Anonymous Theories stamps on the panel using DIstress Archival Black Soot Ink. 

To complete the card, I added some stitching around the panel and attached some Machinery Heads to the bicycle tires. I mounted the panel onto a panel of Black Alcohol Ink Cardstock and then to a panel of Kraft Cardstock that had been stamped with the Tiny Text stamp in Frayed Burlap ink.
