simon says stamp monday challenge: try to resist
This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Try to Resist and the design team is using Ranger products and showing off some of their favorite resist techniques.
I love resist with embossing powder especially with Distress Spray Stains. What an easy way to create a background. This week I used the Tim Holtz Halftone and Rings Stamps to create my background and went over it with Distress Spray Stains in Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron and a bit of Distress Mica Spray in Tarnished Brass. I finished off the tag with images from Dina Wakley’s Gals and Borders set.

I was VERY excited to see your tag because I just bought the Tim Holtz set AND the Dina Wakley set! It’s always inspiring to see how someone clever uses a product you own, so I appreciate the great ideas you came up with. Love how the circles in the background are white and I thought your sentiment was GENIUS!
