Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Under The Sea

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with us last time and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge theme is On/Under the Sea. This week I have used some of the fun fish from the Tim Holtz Sea Life stamp set and the coordinating Sea Life dies from Simon Says Stamp.

To create the fish for my card, I stamped them in Distress Oxide Mini inks, then embossed each one with Distress Embossing Glazes in the same color.

After they were embossed, I sprayed them with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain.

I created the background with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain then stamped it with the Mesh Background stamp using Salvaged Patina Distress Archival Ink. Once my panel was dry, I distressed it with a Distress Edger.

I added the fish and some Black Soot Distress Paint splatter to bring it all together.

To complete my card, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Big and Bold stamps and dies in black ink and sprayed it with Antique Linen Distress Spray to match with the rest of the card.
