simon says stamp STAMPtember® : tim holtz exclusive set
It's STAMPtember® over at Simon Says Stamp…and that means all good things including new stamps and collaborations with some wonderful stamp companies. Today I'm joining in on the STAMPtember® celebration and creating with this new Tim Holtz exclusive set. I love the size of these blueprint stamps and their fun sentiments, perfect for card making. Here's a closer look at the images:
I decided to pick four of the images and make them into cards with backgrounds inspired by some of my favorite Tim Holtz Tags of 2013, 2014 and 2015.
The first card features a cut out camera that was inspired by Tim's November 2013 tag. I remember making this tag using the camera blueprint and cutting out and layering it, and I used my own finished tag as inspiration for this card:
One of my favorite backgrounds ever was on this year's January tag…I made a bright crinkly colored panel as the base of this birthday card.
The next inspiration was the bubbly background from the July 2014 tag. I love this look and it even works great with a simple seashell…
And finally a card that has a background inspired by the January 2013 tag. I loved those gears, and I cut them from metallic card stock this time to make my card easy to send through the mail. They are a super fun background for the clock stamp.
