Just a quick share today of a few cards that I created for the newest Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween 2017 release that were shown in Tim's recent Facebook Live post. If you missed it, you can catch it here. There are some really fun samples to see!
Aren't these little Pumpkinheads (CMS309) adorable? I had such a fun time stamping, cutting and coloring them. Some of them are layered with foam tape to give them even more dimension. To create the background base I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide through the new Crossed Layering stencil. I created the sky and earth background by blending the top of the panel with Blueprint sketch Distress Ink and creating the ground with Distress Oxides in Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo splatters. I stamped the pumpkins on the base, then paper pieced them from another piece of paper and layered some of them with foam tape to create dimension.
For this spooky but fun card, I started off with panels of Distress Mixed Media Heavy Stock. I colored them with Distress Oxides in my favorite Halloween colors, Twisted Citron and Seedless Preserves. I also colored one of the panels with Black Soot Distress Oxide, let it dry then stamped the cobweb (Skulls and Cobwebs CMS306) in Antique Linen Distress Oxide. Once the panel was dry, I stamped and embossed the sentiment in white. The vampire is from the Monstrous CMS307 set, and I colored him with distress markers, cut him out and popped him up with foam tape. To create the fun scallop detail, I cut two of the scalloped edges that are in the Stitched Ovals set and inked them very lightly with Black Soot Distress Oxide so that the white stitching detail on the scallops would show through.
For my third card, I used the Scared Silly set (CMS311) set to create a fun pattern to go along with the โeye love youโ set and colored the images in with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron, Candied Apple and Broken China and a waterbrush. To complete the pattern on this card, added some splatter with some watered down Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and added a simple Happy Halloween sentiment from the same set. I love that all of the sentiments are available in a print and a script version!

Thanks for the details! I enjoyed reading through your creative process on each one. These are marvelous cards and I especially love the one with the eyeball jars. I want to try that technique on a card!
great cards Cheiron! I can’t even pick a favorite, although I love how you created such a great card using the eyeball in the jar and the saying. Easy and clever!
