Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Beach Day

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with us last time and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge theme is Beach Day! I could use one of those everyday…

Today I created my card with one of my favorite Concord & 9th sets, Beach Day. I cut a panel from Powder cardstock, and stamped the birds using the same Powder color of Ink. I added the sentiment in a nice crisp black Versafine ink. To create the “sand” I used some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock that I roughed up using a damp paper towel. I cut the umbrella out of classic red and white to finish the card and give it a pop of color.
