Butterfly Reverie
This dress is the inspiration for this week's Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World. Love the colors and the watercolor pattern, so I thought I would take out my Distress Inks and water brush and see what I could do! I painted a watercolor paper strip with the colors in the dress and added a butterfly embellishment. This layout is from a sketch featured in this month's contest over on the Hero Arts blog:

For the butterfly, I colored acetate with alcohol inks. To make the butterfly look more "real", I stamped a butterfly body on white cardstock from this set so it would show through.
